EARLY WAIKATO PIONEERS £FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT J HAMILTON. Friday The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. George Miles, of 31 'Wilson Street, Hamilton East, will be celebrated on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Miles ■were married at St. Saviour's Church, 'Alexandra, now known as Pirongia, by the late Rev. S. Griffith* on July 81. 1889. Although well over age, Mr. Miles volunteered for service in the Great War, in which lie served for over two years. He went away as a farrier and returned as a farrier-major.
