AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP The Auckland provincial amateur billiards championship was continued last evening at Messrs. Billiards, Limited, showrooms, when J. Harrison defeated 11. Rae comfortably. Rae commenced well and a neat all-round break of 'J2 resulted. He had much tho better of tho play and had a good lead at tho first hundred mark. Harrison commenced to mako up the leeway and, playing very accurately, mado a splendid break of 79. He continued to scoro freely and, although Rao tried very hard, he failed to hold his opponent. Tho final scores were:—Harrison. COO (breaks of 71), 21, 53, 23 and i! 7); H. Rae, 337 (breaks of -12 and 23). 11. A. Massoy will play J. \V. Craies at 7.30 o'clock to-night.
