PARK IMPROVEMENTS

CHANGES AT PARNELL Considerable improvements have been effected in Parnell Park. A shelter has been constructed in the new section of the rose garden, where 500 fresh rose trees have been planted. A hedge bordering Judge's Bay Road has been removed, and portion* of the St. Stephen's Church old cemetery area, now included -in the park, has been graded and levelled and is now covered with closely-cut grass. The improvement to tlie Judge's Bay surroundings should enhance the popularity of this resort, which attracts large numbers of children and their parepts in tho bathing seasons.
