CEAVERIEY MiYSTERY - j '■ POLICE INVESTIGATION INQUEST DATE NOT FIXED [by telegraph—rnKSS association] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday No further developments have taken place in the police inquiry into the discovery of a woman's body on the Taratuhi Beach, two miles north of the Public Works camp at Claverley, from which Mrs. Harriet Jane Patience disappeared on October 4 last year. The date of the inquest has not yet been fixed, according to Superintendent S. Rawle, of Christchurch, who is at present at Kaikoura. where the body has been taken. A party of detectives from Christchurch, including SeniorSergeant J. Bickerdike, who was recalled from his annual leave, has gone to Kaikoura. Senior-Sergeant Bickerdike was in charge of the extensive search for Mrs. Patience last year.
