ONE MORE SANCTUARY

The Islo of Lunga, off the coast of Mull in west Scotland, is to become a bird sanctuary. It has been bought by Mr. Arthur Niall Rankin, airman and naturalist, who intends to do all in his power to preserve its wild life, protectr ting the seals which are often found on its shores, and allowing the birds to make themselves at homo. Mr. Rankin is building a house on the island, but will keep nis 'plane a little way off so that the roar of its engine will not disturb the wild life there.
