ROTORUA NEWS

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION The 19th anniversary of the Rotorua Women's Club was celebrated this week with an afternoon and 'evening party. The president, Mrs. G. 11. French, presided, and welcomed members. During the .afternoon items were given by Miss M. Chote, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Nisson and Mrs, 11. 11. Davis. Mrs. B. Gordon Edwards and Miss Chote ; were the accompanists. At 'afternoon tea the birthday, cake was cut by Mrs. A. Steele, one of the foundation members of tho club.

In the evening another enjoyable entertainment, programme was presented, those taking part being Miss Bnigent, Miss M. Chote, Miss Beryl Davidson, Miss M. Grcsham, .Miss M:. McKenzie, Miss 0, Harris and Miss L. Shute. The accompanists wcro Miss M. McKenzie, Miss M. Chote and Miss M. Grosham,
