MATERNITY SERVICES
HOSPITAL AT KATIKATI [by telegraph—own correspondent] TAURANGA. Friday A report forwarded by Dr. R. A. Shore for the Director-General of Health. Dr. M. H. Watt, to the Taurnnga Hospital Board in regard to the extension of maternity services, recommended that serious consideration should be given to - the establishment of a small maternity hospital of three or four beds at Katikati, with provision to accommodate other emergency crises. » The board decided to give effect to the Health Department's recommendation in regard to the Katikati proposal.
