SOCIAL EVENING

j HOROLOGICAL INSTITUTE I An enjoyable evening was spent in the Penwomen's Club rooms last week by members of tho New Zealand Horological Institute and their friends. The guests were greeted on arrival by the president of the branch, Mr. C. Smith, and the Dominion president, Mr. P. E. Ca lanie. Entertaining items woro given by Miss Warren who recited, Mr. Dudley Wrathall and Mr. Dan Flood, avlio provider! humorous items, Mr. W. 11. Webber, who played piano accordion melodies, and Mr. C. Webber and Mr. L. Johnston, who played pianoforte selections. Dancing was also enjoyed.
