STOWAWAYS FINED
THREE IN THE AWATEA TWO OTHERS DETAINED (Received June 27, 0.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Juno 27 Three stowaways brought back from New Zealand by the Awatea to-day were each fined 40s and ordered to pay a faro of £9 9s, in default 23 days' imprisonment. Two stowaways wero also landed from the "VVanganella and detained.
