AUSTRALIAN COMMANDER DEFENCES IN PACIFIC (Received June .27, 11.40 p.m.) SINGAPORE. June 27 Vice-Admiral Sir Ragnar Colvin arrived from Australia to-day aboard the destroyer Swan and met Admiral Sir Percy Noble, Commander-in-Chief in the Far East, with whom he will have a talk this afternoon on the recent Singapore and New Zealand Pacific defence conferences. He will then continue to London, where lie will discuss with the Admiralty the decisions of both conferences.
