Prior to their departure for Wellington for the opening of Parliament Air. .1. M. Allen, ALP. for Hauralci, and Air. W. S. Goosman, ALP. for Waikato, Airs. Allen and Airs. Goosman were entertained at a social in the Civic Ballroom at Morrinsville. The hall had been attractively decorated for the occasion, and there was a larne attendance of supporters and friends. Airs. Allen was wearing a frock of cyclamen and blue taffetas; Airs. Goosman was in apple green metalasse, and the Alayoress, Airs. W. flotherington, wore petunia Chantillv lace.
