MARRIAGE IN INDIA CEREMONIES AT BHOPAL [FROM OCR ow.v correspondent] CULCUTTA, June 6 Ceremonies connected witli the marriage of tlie Nawab of Pataudi, the Worcestershire and England cricketer, to the second daughter of the of Bhopal have been followed with interest both in India and in hncland. The ruler of Bhopal State has also dono much for various forms of j>P or !j 111 India, notablv polo, cricket and hockej. Both houses are of Afghan descent, Bhopal State having been founded toward the close of the 17th con ** bv an Afghan nobleman who bad served under the Moghul hrnperor Aurangzeb. while the State 0 Pataudi, near Delhi, -came into tlio possession of the ruling family in IeUO. The many ceremonies at Bhopal colourful and impressive, and throiignout the past week the people have shown their pleasure at tiie marriage of their Princess.
