TANKER JOHN A. BROWN ARRIVAL FROM PALEMBANG John A. Brown, Vacuum Oil Company motor-tanker, will arrive eaily this morning from Palembang and berth about eight'o'clock at Western Wharf. The ship, which was built at Monfalcone, Italy, last year, is of 10,445 tons gross and is under British registry, Sho will complete discharge at Nelson and Lyttelton. Port Bowen, Port Line steamer, in ballast from Port Kembla, has advised that she will arrive at the pilot station at three o'clock this afternoon. She wdl begin loading here for London. Monowai, Union Company stcamei, was despatched yesterday afternoon for Sydney, about 100 passengers embarking here. Napier Star, Blue Star steamer, left Auckland in the afternoon for London and Newcastle-on-Tyne, via Panama. Zealandic, Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship, cleared port last night lor London, via Cape Horn. H.M.S. Lcander, ilagslup of the .New Zealand Division of the Roval Navy, sailed from the Devonport Naval Base yesterday morning on a cruise to tho South Pacific.

NARDANA DELAYED The departnre for Wellington of the British India steamer Nardana. discharging cargo from New York at King's Wharf, has been postponed until to-morrow. RAHAXGA TO COMPLETE The Shaw, fe'avill and Albion steamer Raranga, from Napier, will arrive here to-mor-row morning to complete loading for London and West Coast ports of Britain. TONGARIRO FROM LIVERPOOL The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro will arrive'here from Liverpool, via Panama, at nine o'clock to-morrow night and berth on Friday morning. i GAM ARIA WITH AEROPLANES A shipment of 16 Vickers Vincent military aeroplanes for the New Zealand Government is being brought by the British India steamer Gamaria, which is due at Auckland from Calcutta, via Sydney, about July 15. ROTORUA'S ALL WELL The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua, which left Auckland on June 1(> for London, via Panama, has advised that she left Pitcairn Island at S p.m. on Sunday. She has experienced very good weather and all on board are well. THE MATUA TO-MORROW Wireless advice from the Union Company's passenger motor-ship Matua states that she will arrive here from Rarotonga at seven o'clock to-morrow morning. She will sail at 10 o'clpck on Friday night for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva. MATSON SAILING TIME Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited, advises that in future all Matson sailings from Auckland for Sydney are scheduled to be at 10 p.m. Tn the past the scheduled sailing time has been 5 p.m. on the day of arrival, but in most cases heavy cargo for Auckland has resulted in the vessels not leaving until It) p.m. THE. SYDNEY MARU The Osaka Syosen Kaisya motor-ship Sydney Maru, from Japan, via Melbourne, has advised that she will reach Dunedin to-mor-row afternoon. Loading for Japan during discharge, she will continue at Wellington, Auckland. July 6 and 7, and Lyttelton. She will leave Lyttelton on July 11 for Japan, via Sydney. PORT WHANGAREI,CHARTERED The Watchlin Line motor-ship Port Whangarei has been chartered by tho Holm Line to run for a period in the Deunedin. Wellington, New Plymouth and Port Waikato ' service. She will begin in the trade to-mor-row. loading at Dunedin. The Watchlin Line service between Auckland and southern ports will, in the meantime, be maintained by the motor-ship Port AVaikato. PACIFIC COAST TRADE The Union Company advises a number of changes in movements of its ships from the , Pacific Coast. The chartered motor-ship Hoperange, formerly scheduled to reach Auckland on August 14, will now load at British Columbian ports for Melbourne and Sydney only. The company's motor-ship Limerick will load at British Columbian ports. San Francisco and Los Angeles next month for Papeete, Auckland, Lyttelton and Australia, and the motor-ship Hauraki will load at Pacific Coast ports in August for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Australia.
