MR. R. F. MALFROY PROMOTION TO INSPECTOR HEADQUARTERS IN BRISBANE Notice of his appointment as inspector of the Queensland division of the Bank of New South Wales, with headquarters in Brisbane, has been received by Mr. If. F. Malfroy, manager of the bank in Auckland. Mr. Malfroy expects to leave Auckland about the end of next month. His successor here will be Mr. K. J. Provan, at present assistant inspector for Queensland. Mr. Malfroy joined the bank's service at Greymouth in December, 1899, and was attached to the inspector's office in Wellington from 1902 to 1922. He was manager at Stratford from 1922 to 1930, and subsequently manager at Hastings, assistant to the inspector in Queensland, manager of the King and George Streets branch, Sydney, assistant inspector in Wellington. and has been manager in Auckland since 1937.
