INFANTILE PARALYSIS
CASES OF DIPHTHERIA WELLINGTON NOTIFICATIONS [ill* TELEGRAPH —OWN" CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON. Tuesday Included in tho 21 casos of infections disease reported to the Wellington office of the Health Department from the central Wellington district for the week ended yesterday, were two of acute poliomyelitis and nine of diphtheria. There was one death from diphtheria. Dr. F. S. Maclean, medical officer of health, Wellington, said that one of the infantile paralysis cases, a Wellington boy aged six, was doubtful. Iho lad however, was in hospital lor observation. The other victim was a \Yairarapa boy of U. who was now 111 the Masterton Hospital.
