Which Is My Favourite Stamp?
Thi« week we have pleasure in announcing a special contest for stamp collectors. The other day a grown-up reader of our page very kindly brought in some attractive Danish stamps for distribution amo g - the readers of this page, and I thought the best and fairest way; to give them out would be to let the readers compete for them in a competition. The first prize will be a packet of Danish stamps, and the minor prizes smaller packets of assorted stamps of various countries, o win one of these packets you have to write an essay of not more than words on "The Stamp I Like Best In My Collection—-and Why. Neatness, style and age will be taken into consideration in e judging, and the contest is open to all readers under 20 years. ri on one side of the page only and don't forget to state your name, age and address. _ " / _ Entries should be sent to "ANNE SHIRLEY," Herald Office, Queen Street, Auckland. - THE CONTEST CLOSES ON SATURDAY, JULY 15. -
