PAYING GUESTS
People who are left badly ofT froqnentlv decide to run a small hotel and boarding-house, and Avril is persuaded by her practical aunt to turn "Golden (irovo" (tho title of the novel) into an establishment, for paying guests. Dorothy Lambert describes all that happens, and there is plenty of excitement, for Iho guests are a mixed typo. (Jay, in particular, is decidedly n problem. The aunt is a great character—one of Miss Lambert's best. "Golden Grove," by Dorothy Lambert. (Collins.)
