FINES AT TAUMARUNUI [nv TKF.KortArn —nwx corrk.spontient] TAUMARUNU J, Friday Several offenders were fined in the Tanniurunui Police Court for breaches ol' the liquor laws. Thomas Hurley, licensee of the Tokaanu Hotel, was fined £6 for selling liquor on Master Sunday to a motor party from Taumarunui, who, when returning, met with a serious accident. Hobert Dittjner. barman at the hotel, was fined £5 for supplying liquor after hours. Kdward Kerry, for selling hop beer over strength, was fined £'2s. It was stilted that an analysis showed o pur cent proof spirit instend of 3 per cent. A native. Thomas Albert Mnntinui, who gave his name as Thomas Albert and his address as Mnminui, when ordering liquor, was fined £4 for assisting in procuring liquor for hiraaalf as a, native.
