RICHMOND CIiTJISING CLUB PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES LARGE NUMBER OF GUESTS An enjoyable function took place at the Peter Pan Cabaret last night, when the Richmond Cruising Club hold their annual ball and presentation of trophies ceremony. Tho large number of guests wore received by the commodore of tho club, Mr. M. Thomson. The hall was effectively arranged with flags and bunting. Tho trophies, which were set out on a table near tho orchestral stand, were later presented to the winners by the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Ernest Davis. Lady Davis, who accompanied her husband, wore a frock of Marina blue cloque. Among those present wore:—Mrs. B. Wilson, who wore a frock of green striped organza; Mrs. W. Hcerdegen, gold lace; Mrs. J. M. McKinnon, black taffetas; Mrs. W. Curtis, midnight bluo cloque; Mrs. J. 11. Moon, dull gold lame; Mrs. H. Bailey, Burgundy red satin; Mrs. C. Cole, turquoise blue taffetas; Mrs. W. Smith, coral pink ring velvet; Mrs. B. Wall, palo bluo patterned georgette; Mrs. G. Webster, black velvet; Mrs. B. Simmons, black taffetas; Mrs. M. Seccotnb, peacock blue taffetas; M/s. G. Thomas, black taffetas; Mrs. S. Magill, vintago .vino crepe; Mrs. J. E. J. Lobley, black georgette; Mrs. 11. Colo, pale pink satin; Mrs. E. Murfitt, rose pink velvet; Mrs. C. Ilardman, gold taffetas; Mrs. H. Marmont, briar roso lace;' Mrs. J. Donnerly, black satin; Mrs. N. Smith, hydrangea bluo taffetas. Miss Marjorio Inglis wore shot mauvo moiro taffetas; Miss K. Carr, clover red georgette; Miss R. Day, black and gold-striped satin: Miss Margaret McKinnon, embossed bluo taffetas; Miss Barbara Sherlock, black and Burgundy red tunic frock; Miss Nancy Hodgson, striped marquisette; Miss A. lorncniist, black embossed tafletas; Miss Ohvvn Tavlor, orchid green satin; Miss Shirley Hicks, cyclamen tafletas; Miss Gladys Whale, gold shimmer satin; Miss* May Carmody, cyclamen georgette: Miss F.
