YORKSHIRE SOCIETY

The fortnightly social and danco of tho Yorkshire Society was held this week. The guests wero received by Mrs. Caton and Mrs. Ashworth, in the absence of Mrs. H. G. Staley, wife of the president. The winners at cards were Mrs. Walmsley and Mr. J. Haywood, and the Monte Carlo winners were Mrs. K. Applotcm and Mr. T. Shaw. The special novelty prize was won by Mrs. M. Luckhurst. All the prizes were donated by Mrs. A. Knapton and were presented by Mrs. Ashworth.
