PLUNKET SOCIETY memory of sir truby king representative gathering In tribute to the memory of the la to Sir Truby King, a founder's day luncheon was held in the Milne and Chovce Reception Hall yesterday by members of tho Auckland Plunket Society. ' Tho president, Mrs. J. C. Allan, presided over a very largo attendance which included the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Ernest Davis, and Lady Davis, tho Deputy-Mayor, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, and Mrs. Allum, the Mayors of tho various suburbs and their wives, representatives of sorno of tho women s organisations in Auckland, also the first president of the Plunket Society, Mrs. Alfred Nathan, and the first secretary, Mrs. W. H. Parkes. In addition, representatives of the society from several of tho provincial areas ■were present at tho function. Tho tables in tho Reception Hall had been very attractively arranged with chrysanthemums, Iceland poppies and other flowers in season; 1 Tho guests included: —Sir Ernest and Ladv Davis, Lady Myers, Archbishop and"Mrs. Averili, Mrs. Alfred Nathan, Dr. and Mrs. F.
