WOMEN'S DIVISION

Clevedon. —A successful year, both socially and financially, was reported at the annual meeting of the branch. On behalf of the members, Mrs. Bryan made presentations to the retiring president, Mrs. C. C. Munro. and secretary, Mrs. J. Luke. The points prizes were presented by Mrs. Munro. Mrs. Sutherland and Mrs. Driver, the winners being as follows: —Thrift: Mrs. Wilson, 1; Miss F. Stephens, 2; Mrs. barren, 3. Best bloom: Mrs. Sutherland, 1; M iss M. Sutherland, 2. A presentation was made to Mrs. Kenderdine by Mrs. Munro. The following officers were elected: —President. Mrs. Bryan; vice-presidents, Mrs. Driver, Mrs. McPherson. Mrs. Sutherland; secretary,: Mrs. Hasten; treasurer. Mrs. Driver; committee, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Bhmdell, Mrs. Kenderdine, Mrs. Luke, Mrs. D. Shaw, Miss F. Stephens, Miss E. Scott.

_ Xgahinanouri.—Mrs. R. Thomas presided at the monthly meeting and details of the South Auckland provincial dressmaking classes were given. Mrs. McGregor demonstrated the making of organdie lavender sachets. The monthly competitions* wore both won by Mrs. Fitness, who also won the yearly points prizes for flowers and monthly competitions. Sirs. Bronuvich won the points prize for. increase of knowledge, ihe hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Mcintosh and Mrs. Chapman. ihe following officers were elected st the annual meeting: President, Mrs. B. The 'president. Mrs. Haullam, Welcomed Mrs. Wickham and presented her with a bouquet which had wen made by Mrs. Hill. Following are the results of the election of ofiicers: President, Mrs. E. C.
