THREE BOYS IN COURT
CHARGES OF THEFT [from our own t con respondent] WHANG AREf, Wednesday "When these gangs get started it is absolutely essential to break them up," commented Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., when remarking on the activities of three boys, one aged 16 and two aged 15, who appeared before him in (lie Children's Court at Whangarci on charges of theft, The boys had stolen about £M worth of property and the parents of the younger boys undertook to make restitution.
Mr. Morris sent the elder hoy to a Borstal Institute for 12 months and placed tho younger hoys under the Child Welfare Officer. They will not he permitted to go out at nights or to attend pictures or similar shows.
