LANG'S POSITION REFUSAL TO RESIGN DEFIANCE OF OPPONENTS (Received April 28, 8.21 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 28 As a sequel to yesterday's meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party caucus, when . several members demanded the-resignation of Mr. J. T. Lang from the leadership of the official Labour Party, Mr. Lang to-day issued a statement- to the effect that he is determined to continue in the leadership until the annual conference calls for his resignation. Mr. Lang said: "If anybody imagines there is going to be a cold-blooded assassination he will make a tremendous mistake. I will stay where 1 am' and fight this minority dictation."
