AUCTIONEERS' iNOTE.—Wo have inspected Mr. Rickard's herd and find this to consist of excellent young dehorned Jersey Cows due to commence calving at the end of June. The heifers are duo from July and August. Both cows and heifers are in excellent condition, 13 of the cows arc marked. Calving dates and herd-testing returns will be given at the sale. The herd averaged 3flfllb fat in the 1037-38 season, topping the Puketaha group and, despite the present unfavourable season, will not be far short of that figure in the present season.
