WEEKLY AT HOME

OVERSEAS LEAGUE VARIED CONCERT PROGRAMME Bowls of chrysanthemums decorated the Overseas League rooms yesterday for the weekly At Home, which took the form of a musical afternoon. The programme was arranged by Mrs. J. H. Wathew. Miss Anita Webster acted as chairman Songs were sung by Mrs Wallace Good. Mrs. Gordon Fagan and Miss Sybil Phillips, and Miss Zeta Austin played violin solos. Mrs. Sholto Smith presented piano solos, and also played accomjraniments for the other artists. Elocutionary items were given by Miss Anita Webster. At the conclusion of the programme, afternoon tea was served by Miss Amy Sutton, Miss S. Nolan and Miss A. I. McDonald. The receiving hostesses were Mrs. E. Foster and Miss E. Holben.
