FAMOUS TENOR
RETURN OF RICHARD CROOKS The return after a world tour of the noted tenor Richard Crooks, so well known on the concert platform and operatic stage, is announced by Messrs. J. and N. Tait. Owing to numerous stage and radio contracts overseas Mr. Crooks is able to give only three concerts while in Auckland, and these will be presented on Saturday, May 13, and the following Tuesday and Thursday. The management announces that, besides the Auckland season being so limited, Mr. Crooks will be unable to visit any country centres or the South Island. The selections which this famous tenor will sing embrace a wide range, and it is claimed that all tastes are catered for. Booking arrangements for all three concerts, which will be held in the Town Hall, are advertised, special arrangements being available for country clients.
