WELL-PERFORMED PACER The five-year-old Bayard, a fancied candidate for the Papatoetoe Handicap at the Auckland Trotting Club's meeting at Epsom to-day. Bayard has won three times in his last six starts, and his latest victory was achieved in the Wairnate Plains Handicap at Hawera on April 10, when he paced two miles in 4m 28a.
