PRESENTATIONS

The presentation of a chiming clock was made to Mr. J. B. Cranston, Boy Scout Commissioner for Northern Wairoa r and Mrs. Cranston, at a farewell in tho Dargaville Scout Hall. The presentation to which tho scouts themselves chiefly subscribed, was made by Patrol Leader B. Dawd. Mr, S, W. Hill spoke on behalf of the Dargaville troop, expressing appreciation of the work done by Mr. Cranston. The presentation of a dressing gown was made to Mr. A. S. Cliffc, headmaster at the Frankton Junction School, who has been appointed headmaster at Katikati, at a social function. Mr. R.. P. Kilham made the presentation and thanked Mr. Cliffo for his services.
