BUILDING PROGRESS

INCREASE AT DEVONPORT An increase of £2911 in the value of building permits issued by the Devonport Borough Council for the year elided March 31, compared with the total to March 31, 1938, was reported to a meeting of the council last night. The respective totals were £26,621 and £23,709. The number of permits for 1939 was 101, compared with 102 for 1938.
