BOY DROWNED IN BATHS
DISAPPEARANCE UNNOTICED! [BY TETjEGRArH—PRESS ASSOCIATION"] CARTERTON, Tui.sday A ten-year-old boy, Harry Walter Nielsen, son of Mr. Jack Nielsen, of Rhodes Street, was drowned in the municipal baths last evening. Although there were 30 or 40 swimmers in the pool and a caretaker was in charge at the time, the boy's disappearance was not noticed until his elder brother reported that his clothes were still in the shed. The boy's body was found in the pool later. Artificial respiration was tried without effect.
