BLACKBERRIES PLENTIFUL
Sunday's brilliant weather resulted in many pilgrimages to blackberry country' where the fruit is still plentiful. Hikers were seen along byways, industriously filling paper bags, while cars were parked in many places of prolific promise. Whatever may be said of the briars there is no doubt about the popularity of the fruit. The berries are now in excellent condition, although generally speaking they are rather small this season.
