BARNARDO HELPERS
A successful sale of work was held in the Presbyterian Hall, Pukekohe, recently by the local branch of the Barnardo Helpers' League. Many aspects of the work of the Dr. Barnardo's Homes abroad were shown by Mrs. Acutt, of London, in a series of lantern slides. The speaker congratulated the members of the Pukekohe branch upon having one of tlio largest leagues in tlio district.
