COMBINED CONTESTS LYNNDALE AND NORTHERN GOODER DEFEATS PARTRIDGE The Lynndale and Northern Cycling Clubs combined in holding their respective championships at the Western Springs Stadium last evening. The professional events were under the control of the Auckland Cycle Club. A special match race between the two sprint champions, C. R. Gooder, of the Lynndale Club, and J. W. Partridge, Northern Club, was won by Gooder by half a wheel in the fast time of 12 2-5s for the last furlong. Championships were won as follows: Lynndalo Club.—looo-motrcs time trial: C. R. Gooder; 500-metres sprint, C. R. Gooder; 10-miles paced, C. R. Gooder; One mile junior. H. R. Baldwin; live miles junior paced, R. E. Clark. . Northern Club. —1000-metres time trial: J. W. Partridge; 500-metres sprint, J. W. Partridge; five miles paced, G. H. Cunningham; one mile junior, J. S. O'Gorman; five miles junior paced, J. S. O'Goriiian.
