CARRIER FINED £4O [IJY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION") INVERCARGILL, Thursday A fine of £4O and cancellation of his driver's licence for 12 months was the penalty imposed by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, on Walter Henderson, master carrier, of Winton, who was found guilty by a jury of negligently driving a motor-truck, thereby causing the death of Frank Anderson. The Chief Justice said that if the truck had been travelling on the correct side the accident would not .have happened.
