NEW BANK BUILDING
EARLY START UNLIKELY MONTHS OF PREPARATION It is very unlikely that a start will bo made on the construction of the new Bank of New Zealand premises in Queen Street very much before the end of the year. When the designs were approved by the board a great deal of intensive work had still to be done by the architects. Engineering problems connected with the designing of the steel work are now engaging attention and operations on this branch and also work by the quantity surveyors will occupy some months beforo completed.
