DEFENCE LEAGUE
SUPPORT AT PUKEKOHE [from OUR OWN correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Monday In acknowledging the Franklin County Council's offer of a donation of 10 guineas, the provincial committee set up to form a Pukekohe branch of the New Zealand Defence League informed the council by letter to-day that it proposed shortly "to hold a further public meeting to complete the formation of the branch. The Dominion organiser of the league would be present. The council passed a resolution reaffirming its desire to support the league and its objects in every possible way.
