RECORDS ESTABLISHED IMPROVED ATTENDANCE ; DETAILS OF JUDGES' AWARDS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Sunday Tho Opotiki Agricultural and Pastoral Association's 47th annual show was held on tho Opotiki showgrounds yesterday in glorious weather. The attendance was very large, the ghte takings being £146, slightly above last year's record figure. The entries work good in most classes, but there was again a falling off in tho homo industries section.

In tho dairy classes Jerseys again predominated. There was no competition in the registered Shorthorn < classes. Fat cattle were present in fair numbers. There was a pleasing revival of interest in the sheep section, tho accommodation being overtaxed and many new pens had to be erected. The entries in this section constituted a record. There was also an improvement in the pig section, a record number of competitors coming forward, and the quality was exceptionally good. The ring events proved to be popular and the jumping was exceptionally good. Tho following championships were awarded: —
