TOUR AUSTRALIA
DUKE AND DUCHESS LEAVE THE BEATEN TRACK LONDON, Fob. 0 The Diike and Duchess of Kent will make inter-State tours in Australia, each of three months, in 1940 and 1941. They wish, when touring, to leave the beaten track and explore Australia's by-ways, notably the tropical coast of Queensland. The limer suite for the Duke and Duchess includes three doublo staterooms, one for the Duke, the Duchess and the children, with a private sittingroom ami; dining room. The sliip will leave England in the middle <if October, but some of the staff will travel, by an earlier, ship and rejoin the Duke and Duchess at Adelaide| with the latest information in connection with their programme. The selection of the Duke's Aides-e----camp is Ihe subject of long discussions. "There in a list of eligible men as long as your arm," a friend of the Duke said.
The II uke will shortly join the Duchess in Greece, after which they will embnrk on a holiday cruise.
