CRUSHED BY TRUCK
EPSOM QUARRY ACCIDENT Criished between a metal truck and a hopper at a quarry in Gillies Avenue, Epsom, shortly after mid-day yesterday, Mr. Charles Carpenter, aged 64, of 854 Manukau Road, Epsom, suffered internal injuries and injuries to ribs. He was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to serious.
