HAMILTON CLUB'S EVENT [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday The Hamilton Pigeon Club contested a race in fine weather, with a south-west wind prevailing. The birds were liberated at Wanganni, an airline distance of 1 r>o miles from Hamilton. The results . were:—L. Cooper's b h 171, I 100 yds per min, I; G. Manktelow's Ii c c ITS, 101tr»yds, 'J; R. Ashton's l> c c 17•_», 10!J3yds, 3; W. Aitken's bc c 3'_\ 1080 yds, 4. WHANGAREI CLUB [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] WHANGAREI. Tuesday The Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club held its second young bird race, 3S birds taking part, from Auckland. The result was:—D. Nlillinglon's Master llricrly, loSlytls a minnto, 1; A. Stanton's Scarlet, ios-jyds, *2; D. Wilson's Bluebell, 1070 yds, 3. This is 1). Millinglon's second Win for the season, and it places him at the top of the young bird average, with IN points. D. Wilson and E. Gilbey are equal, with 13 points each, for ruuner-up.
