Eraser, pressure has been brought to bear and the work of levelling and laying out has been started, only to he abandoned after a few weeks. As a result, the headmaster. Mr. S. A. Mason, reports that the children have not had physical training for the past two years. !he school committee has* decided to approach the Public Works Department offering to undertake the laying of the bitumen as a sub-contract", and to effect the cleaning u]» of the grounds generally. It is felt that unless some definite move is made the school may face the prospect of a third winter without playing facilities.
