REPLACED BY THE KAIMAI [BY TELEGHATH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Tuesday Owing to defects having been discovered in the boilers of the Westport Coal Company's steamer Canopus dur ; ing her annual overhaul the company has decided to lay her up' indefinitely. Her place will be taken by 'the Kaimai, which has been chartered from the Union Steam Ship Company^ The Westpoit Coal Company, Limited, has placed Captain Rowlands, for some years master of the Canopus, in charge of the iKaimai.
