NEW MOTOR-LINER
THE DOMINION MONARCH OFFICERS APPOINTED SAILING THIS MONTH The following appointments 011 the new Shaw, Savill and Albion motorliner. Dominion Monarch, which is due at Wellington from Southampton next month, have been announced: —Commander, Captain W. H. Hartman; staff commander, Captain Aitchison; chief odieer, Mr. A. C. Jones; second officer, Mr. L. 11. Cull; third officer, Mr. C. A. Holleyoak; chief engineer, Mr. A. T. Gibson; purser, Mr. A. D. Cordery; chief steward, Mr. Demesa.
Other appointments are as follows: —Stall' chief engineer, Mr. .7. W. Crew; second engineer, Mr. 11. H. Reid; third engineer, Mr. 0. L. Jones; fourth engineer, Mr. F. Papworth; chief refrigeration engineer, Mr. .J. C. Holmes; second refrigeration engineer, Mr. 1?. Chalmers; chief electrical engineer, Mr. T. C. Shaw; second electrical engineer, Mr. D. MeClement.
The new liner, of 27,000 tons, was launched last July at Wallsend for the South Africa, New Zealand and Australian trade. She is due to sail this month from Southampton.
