AMERICA'S BERLINS
It must l)e because America's population is so cosmopolitan that so many towns there are named after European cities. There are 17 towns named Paris, 8 Londons, 17 Berlins, 15 Moscows, 11 Homes, 4 Tokios, 2 Shanghais! No one can write a letter to Boston without limiting the naune of the State after it, for there are a dozen Bostons. Nor is ifc wise to omit California after Hollywood, for there are 11 of them.
