I It is stated that Dr. Armand Calinesco, the new Home Minister and Vice-Premier as the result of the Cabinet reshuffle, has become the leading figure in the Government, and it is believed he will eventually succeed Dr. Miron Cristea, the Premier, who is ill. Dr. Calinesco was responsible for the suppression of the Iron Guard. General Floreazenscu has been appointed Chief of the General Staff, in which post he replaces General Joneseu, who has been appointed InspectorGeneral.
