NORTHCOTE COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES RESUMED •1 ho Northcote committee of the Plunkct Society met on Wednesday night for the first time since the Christmas vacation. The president, Mrs. A. Campbell, presided. Dr. Barrett Clayton and Mrs. Clayton (formerly Miss A. Partridge, of Auckland), of Duncan, British Columbia, forwarded Christmas greetings to the committee. Mrs. !•". C. Truman was elected a vice-president of the committee. During the absence on holiday of tho Plunket nurse, Miss J. Bursell, the duties were discharged bv Miss Footo, to . whom the committee expressed thanks for her services. Visits to the rooms in December numbered 87, and 10 homes were visited. In January 156 visits were made to the rooms, and live homes were visited bv the nurse.
Voluntary motor-car transport was provided for December and January by .Mrs. H. J. Tavlor, Mrs. A. L. Elliott, Mrs. P. J. Ryan, Mrs. W. F. Ward, Mrs. A. Sterling, Mrs. N. I l ]. Heath, Mrs. H. Cadness and Miss Myrtle Lepper.
