fTHE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE NEW ZEALAND SCRIP WEAKER The improved tone in overseas! markets was reflected on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday by a strengthening in levels for leading Australian issues. New Zealand scrip, however, developed an easier trend. Government loans maintained their gtrength. In banks. New Zealands rejoained weak., but offers for several Australian banks were raised. Insurances continued firm. Although South British eased a shade on sale, the demand again was strong. Among the Dominion issues, New Zealand Breweries, Northern Steam and Wilsons' Cement all lost ground in transfers. Australian industrials, however, showed general improvement and Beveral market leaders were lifted appreciably.
