TWO MEN CHARGED

A sequel to tho arrest of two men at the week-end for allegedly attempting to break into and enter tho premises of Timewell and Company, jewellers, Wyndham Street, City, late on Saturday night, was the appearance in the Polico Court yesterday of George Smale, motor mechanic, aged 44, and John Eeilly, painter, aged 30, charged with tho offence. Reilly also was charged with being a rogue and vagabond, in that he had in his possession certain housebreaking implements. Messrs. .T. B. Paterson and A. J. Stratford, .T.P.'s, were on the Bench. Upon the application of' DetectiveSergeant McHugh, both tho accused were remanded until Thursday.
