THE RUSSIAN BALLET

PRESENTATION TO-MORROW _ The celebrated Co vent Garden Russian ?3allet Company -will open its New Zealand tour with a performance in His Majesty's Theatre to-morrow night, \ in the presence of Their Excellencies, Lord and Lady Galway. The ballets will be staged on a lavish scale and a brilliant season is anticipated. A full symphony orchestra, under the famous young conductor Antal Dorati, will accompany the ballet. A feature of the opening programme is "Cinderella," the latest creation of Michael Fokino. This colourful ballet received wonderful receptions in London, Sydney and Melbourne, where it has only previously been performed. In Sydney it was originally included on the 'programme for one week only, but the enthusiasm of the public was such that it was held for a further week.
